Zoo access
Magnetic loops, wheelchairs, touch panels... Year after year, Lille Zoo improves its accessibility to people with disabilities.
Facilities accessible to people with hearing loss
Thanks to its magnetic loops, all the activities supervised by the zoo's organisers are now accessible to hearing-impaired visitors on request when booking.
A route accessible to people with reduced mobility
The tour itinerary shown on the map below in red dotted lines helps visitors with reduced mobility discover the entire zoo. However, a support companion is mandatory because of the steep gradient in certain parts of the park.
Wheelchairs are also available upon request at the zoo entrance.
Equipment for blind or visually impaired visitors
Touch panels (illustration at the top of the page) dotted around the zoo allow visually impaired or blind visitors to learn more about many of our iconic species.
Through touch, you can learn about the texture of the skin, the animal’s profile, its size and where it lives in the natural environment.
12 panels have currently been installed in the park.
