Visit Parc de la Citadelle
By public transport
- Metro: line 1, République Beaux-Arts station. Then head up to Boulevard de la Liberté.
- Bus: Line 1 or Line 5, Champs de Mars stop
By bike
- V’Lille: Jardin Vauban, Champ de Mars or Esplanade stations.
By car
- Via the A1 or A22: follow Lille Centre, then head up Boulevard de la Liberté.
- Via the A25: Port Fluvial exit, then follow direction Vauban / Citadelle.
Parking: 2 paid car parks are available (Champ de Mars-Liberté and Champ de Mars-Petit Paradis).

Accessing Parc de la Citadelle
The Parc de la Citadelle is freely accessible to the public, except for the central section which is still a military facility. It can be accessed during guided tours offered by Lille’s City of Art and History Department, in partnership with Lille’s Tourism and Convention Office. More info here.
The Quartier Libre is located on Allée des Marronniers, near the Petit Paradis bridge.
